 Protecting
Device Technology Corporation [Prodetech] is a wholly-owned Filipino
business enterprise engaged in the manufacture, supply and distribution
of innovative electrical protection devices and related products for
both domestic and foreign markets. The owners/stockholders hands-on
involvement in the company’s management, manufacturing, marketing and
operation has insured high quality products, manpower productivity and
sustained business development. Our mission is to ensure the highest
quality standard of products, delivery efficiency, cost competitiveness
and proactive contribution to product development processes and
consistent adherence to accuracy, good manufacturing practices and the
latest information.
Our products range from original Filipino-designed motor protectors and
controllers with imported components, transient voltage surge
suppressors [TVSS] from the US to lightning protection systems from
Europe. We also have supporting products like UPS [Uninterruptible Power
Supply], industrial batteries, alarm systems and others. We provide
world-class quality total protection solutions to industries, businesses
and even households. We aim to promote safety, productivity and savings
through reduced maintenance and electricity costs.
Prodetech was organized in March 5, 2003 by a group of dynamic,
technology-driven and service-oriented people. It had its roots in 1993
with the former Techno Venture Electronics, Inc., the key marketing and
engineering personnel of which established Prodetech to continue to
service and provide products to existing as well as potential customers.
Initial production included electronic motor protector and programmable
light switch, liquid level sensor and automatic transfer switch for air
conditioning units. By the following year, 2004, Prodetech became an
official member of the Integrated Telecommunications Suppliers
Association of the Philippines [ITESAP]. Later that year, Prodetech
joined cyberspace by launching its website [www.prodetech.com] to become
easily accessible to its clients and suppliers 24/7. In 2005, Prodetech established an authorized distributorship and
service arm in Davao City through Unicenter Communications to serve the
Visayas and Mindanao areas. The year 2006, we entered into a
sole-distributorship agreement with FirstPower of China to distribute
industrial and specialized OEM [Original Equipment Manufacturer]
batteries. FirstPower manufactures batteries for some of the world’s
leading battery brands. In our pursuit to supply high quality but cost
effective products, Prodetech will continue to forge ties with leading
manufacturers and suppliers both locally and internationally.
Prodetech’s roster of existing and prospective clients include those in
the telecommunication industry, call centers, manufacturing firms,
banks, airline companies, government and real estate business, to name a
few. Currently, our major customers include the largest telecom
companies in the Philippines, namely PLDT, Globe Telecom and Smart
Communications. Like other service-oriented companies, we also provide
services such as repair, maintenance and upgrading of electronic devices
and appliances. In the coming years, Prodetech will continue to improve
its existing products and offer even more advanced and cost-efficient
ones as soon as world high-technology can provide.
