Motor Protector - Protection and Monitoring System
Composed of four sets of innovative electronic circuit boards for more
efficient motor protection against damaging effect of power supply
fluctuations.

- Auto-disconnect, Auto-reconnect
- 15ns Respond Time
- Safe/Normal Power Indicator
- Standby/Power-On Delay Indicator
3 to 5 minute delay transition from a power fluctuation to
safe/normal operation.
- Under Voltage Indicator
When low line voltage is present on the power supply, the sensors
will automatically disconnect the power of the functioning aircon
unit or device. As soon as the power stabilizes, normal operation
will resume after 3 to 5 minute delay. Cut-off voltage is 180 Vac.
- Over Voltage Indicator
When high line voltage is present on the power supply, the sensors
will automatically disconnect the power of the functioning aircon
unit or device. As soon as the power stabilizes, normal operation
will resume after 3 to 5 minute delay. Cut-off voltage is 260 Vac.
- Overload Indicator
- Overload Reset Switch
- Single Phasing monitor for Three Phase

ACU Monitoring System
The lighted bright neon lamp determines which ACU/device monitoring
system is functioning.
Standby/Power-On-Delay Indicators
When the standby / power-on-delay indicator lights, the motor
protector is on a 3 to 5 minute delay transition from a power
fluctuation or brown-out to safe/normal operation.
Under-Voltage Indicators
When low line voltage is present on the power supply, the sensors
automatically disconnects the power of the functioning ACU or device.
As soon as the power stabilizes, normal operation will resume after a
3 to 5 minute delay. Cut-off voltage is 180 Vac.
Power / Overload Reset Button
Four red push buttons are used to reset / re-start the electronic
board back to its normal operation after sensing any abnormality in
the system.
Safe / Normal Power Indicator
When the safe / normal power green indicator lights, the
motor/device and power supply is operating under normal conditions.
Over-Voltage Indicators
When high line voltage is present on the power supply, the sensors
automatically disconnects the power of the functioning ACU or device.
As soon as the power stabilizes, normal operation will resume after a
3 to 5 minute delay. Cut-off voltage is 260 Vac.
Overload Indicators
When overload indicator blinks, the electric motor is experiencing
overload condition. The motor protector will automatically disconnect
the power supply of the functioning electric motor. Routine
maintenance is required to check the cause of the overload on the
motor.
Emergency By-pass Switch
Used for manual switching of AC units by disabling the DCTS for
planned maintenance or repair purposes.
Programmable Digital Timer
A 7-day digital clock/timer used for accurate and efficient real time
transfer switching of aircon units or devices to their respective
programmed hours.
*Alarm Input / Output Facilities (Optional)
An overload (output) and smoke (input) alarm extension connection
can also be integrated to the DCTS as an additional alarm monitoring
system for added safety and protection. The alarm can even be
customized to send information remotely. This is best for unmanned,
remotely situated equipment or cell sites.

PRODETECH DCTS with Digital
Temperature Control is designed to alternately operate Aircon units at
certain preset period of time and transfer automatically the workload
from one aircon unit to the other in the event of aircon malfunction.
In cases of severe main two line supply fluctuations or a return from
power blackout, DCTS has an internal watchdog circuitry that waits on
the two main line supply to stabilize before energizing the aircon
units (enhanced power-on delay). A built-in temperature control device
senses the room temperature and activates both aircon units in case of
persistent high temperature.
