TRIPPER II is designed to protect electrical equipment from burn-out due to power abnormalities and helps reduce maintenance and repair cost for more efficient operation.

FUNCTION
When a motor is in operation under normal conditions the LED visual indicator labeled "Normal Power" is lighted on with green light. Thus, any abnormality or unfavorable condition on the power line side will be detected by the sensors and an output relay is activated resulting to trip-off the motor and will indicate whether Over-voltage, Under-voltage or Single Phasing has taken place. Furthermore, when the power goes back to its normal level, the LED under "Standby" will light up automatically to indicate time delay before normal power operation during brown-outs or sudden voltage interruptions.

If and when an Over-load condition occurs, the LED under "Overload" will be on and trip off. In this case the motor has to be inspected to check and fix the cause of the overload. Then, manually RESET the switch to restart the motor. Adjust the required ampere level to trip-off. Likewise, the front panel plate will help determine or monitor any abnormality or malfunction occurring on the motor.

CONCEPT
TRIPPER II is an Electronic Motor Protector, a device engineered with built-in solid state circuit sensors to provide utmost protection for electric motors of any winding configuration against motor burn-out due to Over-voltage, Under-voltage, Single Phasing and Overload conditions. It has an LED (Light Emitting Diode), a visual indicator to monitor any abnormality on the line and load side of motors. It has an adjustable trip and auto reset delay to prevent nuisance tripping due to rapid power fluctuations.

APPLICATION
TRIPPER II is applicable to Single or Three Phase electric motor from fractional up to 500 HP rating and from 110 to 480 volts.
TRIPPER II is for household appliances, airconditioning units, freezers, washing machines, water pumps, booster pumps, submersible pumps or any electric-ally driven pumps, air compressors, etc. on residential areas, commercial buildings, ice plants, mills, gasoline stations, distilleries, factories or manufacturing firms and other establishments run by electric motors.
